Drew Nash led Western Colorado to a season-opening 45-28 home win over West Texas A&M. He had a hand in five of Western’s six touchdowns on the night, tossing three and running for two during the win over the Buffaloes. He finished as the game’s leading rusher. The redshirt-senior completed 18-of-28 passes for 190 yards without throwing an interception. He added 14 carries for 95 yards, including a long of 27 yards.
